Pre-Purchase Evaluation

Taking on the responsibility of a horse is a major decision! Whether it is to be a pet or a high end athlete; we want you to be comfortable and confident in your decision to purchase your next horse. A pre-purchase exam is an excellent way to learn more about past medical conditions, current health and soundness. A standard pre-purchase exam includes the following assessments:

• Thorough physical exam
• Ophthalmic exam
• Neurologic exam
• Oral exam
• Lameness exam
